A small, big-eyed fish that peers out from crevices with a comically oversized head. Blennies come in many species but all share that curious, frog-like face.

Usually found peeking from holes in rocky walls, retreating inside when you get too close but quickly popping back out.

A hefty blenny with bushy, branching head tentacles and mottled brown-green coloring. Distinguished from other blennies by its size and prominent fringed eyebrows.

Sits motionless in rocky crevices and holes, tolerating close approach — a favorite macro photography subject.
