Usually found peeking from holes in rocky walls, retreating inside when you get too close but quickly popping back out.

Tompot blenny
Parablennius gattorugine(1 photos)A hefty blenny with bushy, branching head tentacles and mottled brown-green coloring. Distinguished from other blennies by its size and prominent fringed eyebrows.
Sits motionless in rocky crevices and holes, tolerating close approach — a favorite macro photography subject.
