Itineraries (4)
The Central Atolls loop runs roughly eleven months a year, paused in June. The Baa manta season around Hanifaru Bay runs about July to October and the encounter there is by snorkel. The Deep South seven-atoll crossings run in the northeast monsoon and are advanced, current-heavy routes.
Central Atolls (Classical Route)
Male-to-Male 18-dive loop through North Male, South Male, Vaavu (Felidhoo) and Ari atolls. Runs about eleven months a year (paused in June); published at atoll level, so individual dive sites are not named per departure.
Central Atolls & Hanifaru
Central atolls plus the Baa manta aggregation. The manta itinerary also takes in Kandooma and Guraidhoo in South Male; Hanifaru Bay is a UNESCO snorkel-only site, so the visit there is a snorkel excursion, not a dive.
7 Atolls Route - South Hemisphere (Descend / Ascend)
Shared southern-hemisphere crossing listed for Blue Force One or Blue Force Three, staging Male and Kooddoo across North Male, South Male, Vaavu, Meemu, Thaa, Laamu and Gaafu Alifu at atoll level. Advanced experience only.
Ruta Especial 6 Atolones
Blue Force One special sold through the booking portal; published at atoll level with no named dive sites.
About
Blue Force One is a 42-metre liveaboard in the Blue Force Fleet, the long-running Spanish operator in the Maldives. It carries 24 guests across 12 cabins arranged around junior and master suites, a step up from standard liveaboard bunks, and guides in both English and Spanish. The staple is the year-round Central Atolls Classical Route, a Male-to-Male loop through North Male, South Male, Vaavu and Ari built on drift channels, thilas and manta cleaning stations. From about July to October the Central Atolls & Hanifaru week adds the Baa manta season, taking in Kandooma and Guraidhoo in South Male along the way; the visit to Hanifaru Bay itself is a snorkel excursion, as the UNESCO core zone is closed to scuba. In the northeast monsoon the boat shares the seven-atoll southern-hemisphere crossings with its sister hull, staging Male and Kooddoo. As across the fleet, routes are published by atoll and theme rather than by a fixed list of named sites, and exact stops are set on board around weather and current. Who does it suit? The Central loop rewards comfortable Advanced divers, while the Deep South crossings assume real current experience and logged dives. Membrane nitrox is available for a surcharge, and Maldives government charges are collected on top of the cabin fare.
What Divers Say
Blue Force One is presented as the fleet's suite-oriented Maldives option, with junior and master suites setting it apart from standard liveaboard bunks, and Spanish-language guiding a repeated draw for the operator's European guests. The Central Atolls week is the staple of drift channels, thilas and manta cleaning stations, while the shared Deep South crossings and the seasonal Baa manta trips extend the range for divers wanting more. Comfort, food and an attentive crew recur in the way the boat is described. As across the fleet, the southern and current-heavy routes are framed as advanced, and cabin rates come on request rather than published up front.
