Big Sepia and lot of surge at the bottom
Visibility was reasonable regardless of the weekend rains, apparently it can take a few days post rain to degrade. Quite a swell on the surface, and surge at the bottom even at 16m at the top of the ridge - combined with the current, not the most relaxing dive. Started the dive against the current towards the coast, following the eastern side of the ridge, which is deeper with bottom around 25-26m. One moray and couple langostas on the way, circled back on the western side which is more shallow and sandy. Single barracuda on the blue and smallish Golden grouper (Falso abadejo, Epinephelus costae) swimming in the open water. Perhaps the highlight of the dive a large Sepia posing for the photographers, which shortly evaded to the safety. With the surge on the bottom, it was not a perfect day for the photography. Xavi said said he saw various Corvallos, but I guess I was blind to those. No nudis, nor flatworms today, not a single one curiously. The second dive was cancelled due to the increasing wind.
