About

Deep Fin Tenerife runs out of Las Galletas, on the south coast within the Teno-Rasca conservation zone, under owner-instructor Alfonso Reveron Sebares. Born and raised in nearby Los Cristianos, Alfonso has dived this coastline since he was ten, and holds both SSI and PADI instructor tickets. The centre's own philosophy favours calm, personalised diving over volume: small groups, a pace set by the divers, not the clock. A semi-rigid boat sits under five minutes' walk from the shop, and its printed site list runs to fourteen named locations with depth cards attached, from a twelve-metre beach entry at Playa Maravilla to a forty-metre wreck-style dive at El Bajonito. Courses follow the SSI ladder through Open Water and Advanced Adventurer, with Diver Stress and Rescue, React Right, and a Deep Diving specialty to forty metres for those chasing depth. Snorkelling trips run separately, with optional workshops on turtles, biodiversity, and cetaceans. DAN Europe insurance is sold on site, a practical touch for visiting divers who arrive without cover.

What Divers Say

Reviews through mid-2026 are consistently strong, crediting Alfonso by name alongside a second instructor, Richy, for making first-time divers feel safe from the initial briefing onward. Small, intimate group sizes come up again and again, closely matching the centre's own pitch. One visitor called the service unbeatable down to the smallest detail and said they would return; another pointed specifically to the patience and know-how behind their first scuba baptism. Divers repeatedly describe feeling comfortable rather than rushed, a theme that lines up with the centre's stated approach of setting the pace around each individual. No service or safety complaints turned up in the reviews sampled for this profile.
