About

Calpe Multiaventura runs its diving programme from a small base about 100 metres from the harbour, at the foot of the Peñón de Ifach. The centre is family-run and has operated for more than 17 years, positioning itself less as a technical specialist and more as, in its own words, the experts in first-time dives in Calpe.

The team behind the courses includes lead instructor Vic, general manager and guide RiAnn, staff instructor Dialo, and divemasters Mar, Arnau and Jesús. Discover Scuba Diving sessions run in sheltered water no deeper than 8 metres, open to divers as young as 10 by one-to-one arrangement, alongside the full PADI course ladder through Rescue Diver.

The signature product here is Paddle & Plunge: a single certified dive at Los Arcos, the arch-riddled site the centre calls one of Calpe's most striking, combined with a short kayak leg back along the coast. It suits certified divers who want variety in one outing rather than a straight repeat dive. Equipment rental, including kids' sizes, and air fills round out the offering for visitors travelling light.

What Divers Say

Reviews describe a warm, patient welcome that suits nervous first-timers and mixed-age groups well. Parents diving alongside children mention feeling reassured by the pace instructors set, and more than one visitor pairs a certified dive with a kayak or paddleboard session in the same trip rather than choosing between the two. RiAnn, named on the official team page, comes up again in guest feedback for the same qualities: patience and a genuinely welcoming manner. The picture across reviews is consistent rather than scattered. Families and first-time divers leave describing the day as more relaxed than expected, with the sea-level entry point doing a lot of the work in keeping things approachable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a marine-reserve fee for diving Los Arcos with Calpe Multiaventura?
No. Los Arcos sits in a protected natural setting, not a restricted-access marine reserve, so there's no permit or diver quota to plan around, just your certification and a booked slot.
What is the Paddle & Plunge experience?
A single guided dive at Los Arcos for certified divers, paired with a short kayak leg along the coast. The dive itself runs 45 to 60 minutes at 6 to 15 metres, with roughly half an hour of kayaking either side.
Can my child try diving with Calpe Multiaventura?
Yes. Discover Scuba Diving sessions are generally open from age 12, or age 10 by one-to-one arrangement, and run in sheltered water no deeper than about 8 metres.
How long has Calpe Multiaventura been operating?
The centre describes itself as family-run for more than 17 years, making it one of the longer-established operators working this stretch of the Calpe coast.
Is Calpe Multiaventura suitable for first-time divers?
Yes, and it's built around that experience specifically. Reviews and the centre's own positioning both point to a beach-entry, patient, first-timer-focused approach rather than a deep or technical specialty.
Does Calpe Multiaventura rent scuba equipment?
Yes, including kids' sizes and air fills, for visitors who'd rather not travel with their own gear.
