About

CoralSub, legally Diving Coral Sub S.L.U., runs out of Las Galletas in southern Tenerife, certified as a PADI, FEDECAS, and ISDA-CMAS training centre. Technical director Fabian Desclin is named directly on the centre's own site and shows up repeatedly in reviews as an active, hands-on instructor rather than a name-only credential. Courses start at Discover Dive and PADI Scuba Diver, move up through Open Water, Adventure Diver, Advanced Open Water, and Rescue Diver, and run alongside FEDECAS and ISDA-CMAS training at every level for divers on the Spanish or CMAS systems. A self-catalogued list of 21 named dive sites ranges from shallow reef terrain around 10 metres to cave and wreck dives down to 40 metres. A snorkelling trip to a turtle-frequented area departs from Puerto Colón for non-divers. Visiting divers can also book paired accommodation at Westhaven Bay Apartments, a ten-minute walk from the centre, rather than arranging lodging separately. The centre runs Monday to Thursday and Saturday, 08:30 to 15:00, with Friday and Sunday available by reservation only.

What Divers Say

CoralSub's Google and TripAdvisor averages sit almost identically: 4.9 from 117 Google ratings, 4.9 from 156 TripAdvisor reviews. Reviewers consistently describe a welcoming, clearly explained baptism dive for first-timers, and Fabian is named directly and often, alongside instructor Leti, for making visiting divers feel comfortable from the first briefing. Several reviewers frame the whole visit, briefing through the dive itself, as smooth and well organised, more than one saying they'd come back on a future trip to Tenerife. Ratings through mid-2026 hold at the same level as older reviews, with nothing in the more recent feedback suggesting any drop in how the centre runs its dives.
