Les Basetes Diving

Les Basetes Diving operates from Club Náutico Les Basetes, a marina between Calpe and Benissa rather than the Calpe harbour itself, a couple of kilometres up the coast road toward Moraira. From here the centre runs a structured nine-point rotation on the Peñón de Ifach, ranging from Tres Piedras at 12 metres through to Roca Langosta at 37, the maximum depth on the list and reserved for divers holding a deep specialty. If the planned site turns out rough on the day, the stated policy is to swap for another point of similar depth and topography rather than cancel the trip outright.

Two paid add-ons extend the rotation past the core Peñón zone: Cumbres del Sol and Toix, each carrying a small surcharge over the standard boat dive. Beyond the usual PADI ladder through Divemaster, the course list includes a PADI Mermaid specialty, an unusual addition next to the recreational and rescue training most Calpe centres run. A monthly underwater photo contest, with a free dive as the prize, gives regulars a reason to come back beyond working through the certification ladder.
