Dive & Fun Mallorca

Dive & Fun Mallorca runs from Font de Sa Cala, on the island's northeast tip about three kilometres south of Cala Ratjada. The centre has trained through the IAC (International Aquanautic Club) since 2006, and now runs the full IAC, PADI, SSI and CMAS curricula side by side, from Discover Scuba Diving for 8-year-olds through to instructor level in each agency; technical diving is available on request. Family-run in character, the team serves a German-speaking core market with full service also in Spanish, English and French.

Boat dives reach Cap Freu and La Mula, two of the 19 licensed dive zones inside the Reserva Marina del Levante de Mallorca-Cala Rajada. The reserve caps combined boat traffic from its dive centres at 200 dives a day and requires any centre diving there to hold its own annual authorisation, which can be requested at any time of year but lasts twelve months. Night diving is banned at both points, except at two other locations elsewhere in the reserve; it runs instead at Big Bay, the shore house reef directly in front of the centre, which lies outside the reserve's mapped boundary.

Two ten-diver boats and a 600hp speedboat, the DEMASIADO, cover the programme, which widens into coastal sightseeing and group charters. A dry-caving excursion to the Pirate's Cave and 1.5-hour snorkelling trips give non-divers something to do alongside the diving schedule. Multi-dive packages start at four dives, with the per-dive rate stepping down at higher volumes, and the rental fleet turns over every two years. Kids diving is available from age 8, and the entrance is wheelchair-accessible.

Reviewers consistently describe a multilingual, knowledgeable team and well-organised days, whether that means boat diving, shore diving at Big Bay, or the dry-caving tour; small group sizes are a repeated point of praise, and instructors are often singled out for patient, clear briefings. Accounts from 2025 and 2026 read noticeably more positive than earlier ones, which several reviewers tie to a change in management around that time. A minority of reviews are critical, citing ill-fitting rental equipment and groups that felt too large. Separately, one reviewer describes being left on a boat without a guide or life vests for over an hour during a rough-water snorkelling trip in 2023; the business disputed that account in its reply.
