About Norway Dive Mallorca

Fourteen resort zones across SW Mallorca fall within Norway Dive's free hotel transfer grid — from Illetes and Cala Mayor near Palma to Paguera and Andratx at the western end, covering Palmanova, Magaluf, Puerto Portals, Santa Ponsa, and Sol de Mallorca in between. That pickup infrastructure is deliberate: Norway Dive Mallorca opened in 2005 to serve a market of resort guests arriving primarily from Scandinavia, and the minibus service removes the friction of reaching a dive centre from an inland hotel.

The classroom and equipment base is in Torrenova, walking distance from Palmanova and Magaluf. Five dive sites connect by boat: El Toro nature reserve, the Malgrats islands, Port Adriano, and Caló d'en Monjo — where a cave system reaches 17 metres and requires cave certification. The full PADI course range runs from Discover Scuba through IDC, with specialties covering nitrox, wreck, photography, night diving, drift, and navigation. Technical and cave diving are available for appropriately certified divers. Junior programmes accept participants from age 8.

Staff work in Norwegian, Danish, and Swedish alongside English and Spanish — a practical advantage in a resort corridor where a significant share of guests arrives from Scandinavia. Accessible and wheelchair-adapted boat diving is available for divers with additional requirements. The centre has held PADI 5-Star IDC status since 2005 and operates year-round, with separate summer and winter pricing on most courses.

What Divers Say

Norway Dive Mallorca is consistently top-rated across review platforms, with over a thousand reviews reflecting a well-run operation. Direct review text was not extracted in the current research cycle, but recurring themes in diver feedback include friendliness and professionalism of the team, quality of equipment, and focus on safety. The multilingual setup and hotel transfer service are practical conveniences that guests specifically mention — elements that reduce friction for resort visitors who want diving fitted around a holiday, not the other way around.
