A five-to-one instructor-to-diver ratio is the number Scuba Diver Javea leads with, and the choice of certification agency backs it up. This is an SNSI centre, a smaller international system built on the same ISO 24801/24802 diver-training standard as PADI, SSI, and CMAS. Volker Schreiber, an SNSI instructor with a marine-conservation background, directs the centre from its base at the end of the Javea channel marina. Eduardo "Edu" Ortiz, a volunteer guide with deep local knowledge of the coastline, and Mabel Menapace, who learned to dive in Ushuaia before joining the team, round out the guiding side. Three boats leave daily, at 08:30, noon, and 16:00, reaching twelve named dive points split across four zones. That range runs from the sheltered north coast down to the Cabo San Antonio marine reserve, where a dedicated two-tank package needs advance police authorisation and a minimum of four divers. Equipment rental, dive insurance through DAN Europe, and snorkelling trips fill out the rest of the offer. The team works in German, Spanish, English, and French.
