Notes

Punta Cana, the north-east point of the 1,5km long barra del negre formation. Few Pink flatforms (Prostheceraeus roseu) right next to the anchor and tens throughout the site mainly on the shallower flat parts on the top of the barra. We started the dive crossing to the eastern side which is more deep reaching 25m and dived north east. My compass had broken but its easy site to navigate. Small langosta, big morena on the deeper parts crevices. Barracudas circling on the shallower depths. No current at all so really relaxing and slow dive, with 120 bars turning back and following the flatter top at 16m back to the boat. Lot of damselfish and barracudas at the shallower and several nudis (flabellina affinis and nobilis, likely) and two spotted doris (vaquita suiza). Couple bigger scorpionfishes also at the top. Flash did not fire on the camera, need to likely replace the optical fibre cable.
