About Dive Deep Blue by ABC Diving
Dive Deep Blue by ABC Diving traces to two Maltese dive operators becoming one. ABC Diving opened in St Paul's Bay in 2020, small enough at the time that its own team calls it one of the island's smallest dive centres; at the beginning of 2026 it united with Dive Deep Blue, a business with three decades of local diving history, and now operates from what it describes as one of the largest dive-centre premises in Malta. The combined centre, based at The Boathouse on Turtle Bay, is a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre run by owner and PADI Course Director Marcus Kitching-Howe. Every instructor holds at least Master Scuba Diver Trainer status with a minimum of 1,000 logged dives, and training covers the full PADI ladder from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster and Instructor Development, plus technical diving to Tec 45. The base includes a classroom, a training pool for confined-water sessions and an equipment wash area. Guided days follow a fixed schedule: two-dive guests are collected at 07:30 for dives at 09:45 and 11:35, single-dive guests at 13:30 for a 15:45 dive, and Gozo trips to the Blue Hole and Inland Sea run separately, split among up to four divers. The Malta programme covers Anchor Bay, Cirkewwa, where the MV Rozi was scuttled, Ghar Lapsi, HMS Maori, the P29 wreck at around 35 metres, Tug 2 and Um El Faroud, with Comino and Gozo available as add-on trips.
