About

Ocean Divine is a 34-metre liveaboard run by Spanish divers who have worked the Maldives since 1998. Eight cabins for sixteen guests, including two upper-deck ocean suites, give it the feel of an owner-operator boat rather than a big-fleet product, and full English and Spanish service runs throughout. Its home water is the central atolls, which it dives year-round through North Male, Rasdhoo, Ari, Vaavu and South Male - thilas, channel dives, and shark and manta cleaning stations. In the dry northeast monsoon, roughly February to April, a longer Deep South safari heads for the southern atolls around Huvadhoo. Through the southwest-monsoon summer, roughly May to October, a Northern route works the north and adds a snorkel excursion at Hanifaru Bay, which is a snorkel-only site rather than a dive. Ocean Divine plans by atoll and theme rather than a fixed named-site list, so the specific sites on any week are picked for conditions within the atolls and confirmed per departure. Enriched air is available on board, and there is a small onboard spa. Who does it suit? Divers who want an intimate, Spanish-and-English small-group week and are happy for the guiding to follow the conditions. Maldives green-tax and marine-park charges are government fees collected by the operator.

What Divers Say

Ocean Divine's distinctive angle, especially for a Spanish-speaking audience, is its ownership: a boat run since 1998 by Spanish divers, with genuine English and Spanish service and a high share of returning guests that points to a personal, small-group feel across just eight cabins. Divers are likely to value the intimacy, the year-round central-atoll diving and the option of a seasonal Deep South push, plus the enriched air and the onboard spa. Expect a warm owner-operator experience rather than a big-fleet product; the boat markets by atoll and theme rather than a fixed named-site list, so the specific dive sites are confirmed with the operator per departure and by conditions.
