Buceo Norte

Buceo Norte Gran Canaria is based on Playa de Sardina in Galdar, on the island's northwest coast, and is built specifically around this stretch of coastline: Sardina del Norte and Caleta de Abajo. The centre holds SSI Instructor Training Centre status, was the first dive centre in Gran Canaria to earn the SSI Diamond Quality Seal, and is recognised as an SSI Classified Diving Centre for adapted diving. It brands its approach "conscious diving," with a stated emphasis on respecting the marine environment.

The dive programme is organised by zone with named, mapped routes: eight distinct interpreted-dive routes around Sardina Bay alone, from the shallow La Cuevita to the advanced Paso del Sargo, plus Caleta de Abajo's ray and angel shark sites and a boat programme reaching Pecio El Arona and other marina wrecks. Guided dives are capped at six divers per group. Courses run from a first apnea or diving baptism through Instructor Development, alongside night dives, an Extended Range introduction for technical divers, freediving, and an SSI Explorers programme for children aged six to twelve.
