Cala Pada Diving Center

Cala Pada beach, east coast of Ibiza, left side of the sand. That is the entire commute from reception to boat. Mariana and Davy took over the center in May 2025 after Tina and Jogi ran it for more than 30 years, renovating the facilities while keeping the beachfront operation intact.

The team now numbers eleven, led by Davy as General Manager and PADI Master Instructor. Six instructors cover PADI, SSI, and CMAS certifications across English, German, Dutch, Spanish, and French. All boat dives depart directly from the beach, with up to three departures per day at 09:45, 12:45, and 15:45. Groups are split by depth: 18 m, 30 m, and 40 m profiles. Average dive time runs 50 minutes.

Facilities were overhauled during the 2025 handover. Warm showers with shampoo provided, individual changing rooms, personal gear storage boxes, a licensed Aqualung service workshop, and free wifi. Restaurants sit next door. The center also has a zoned-off beach area for confined-water training before students head to the boat.

The 74 reviews on record tell a consistent story. The word "family" runs through nearly every account. Divers describe the atmosphere as professional but relaxed, with several noting they signed up for additional courses on the spot. Matze (Matthias) receives the most individual praise for his calm, patient teaching style during Open Water courses.

Returning divers and first-timers highlight the same points: clean, well-maintained equipment; hot showers and proper changing rooms; and a crew that makes nervous beginners feel looked after. One family on a 13-day holiday described booking dives as a secondary activity, then coming back repeatedly after their first boat trip to Isla Santa Eulalia.
