About GO DIVING Center
GO DIVING Center runs from Av. de Gran Canaria in Maspalomas, on the island's south coast. The centre holds PADI 5-Star IDC status and operates what it markets as the only rigid-hulled dive boat on Gran Canaria, named Atlantis, with a sun deck, WC and lounge seating built for two-dive boat trips departing around 9am and returning in the early afternoon.
The current team includes lead instructor Max, captain Ramses, instructors Victor and Paulina, divemaster and marine biologist Elisa, and Master Scuba Diver Trainer Sam. The centre has changed hands more than once over the past year, and content here describes the operation rather than any single person running it.
Training runs the full PADI ladder from Discover Scuba through Divemaster, with a wide specialty spread covering wreck, deep, night, drysuit, search and recovery and navigation, plus technical diving including sidemount wreck work. Free hotel pickup covers the south of the island, and boat trips come with coffee and a post-dive beer. Five languages are spoken: English, Spanish, Dutch, French and German.
What Divers Say
GO DIVING earns strong, consistent reviews: 4.8 out of 5 across 346 TripAdvisor reviews and 4.9 from 312 Google reviews. The boat itself comes up often. Divers repeatedly mention the comfort of a proper rigid-hulled vessel with a full sun deck, alongside praise for organised safety briefings.
Crew and instructors are named warmly and often across reviews, though which names come up has shifted as the team has changed over time. One theme holds steady regardless of who's on staff: divers consistently highlight the emphasis on safety and the quality of the equipment on board.
