About

Gran Canaria Divers sits directly on the sand at Playa de Mogán, the only PADI center in the cluster with no hotel transfer between the shop and the water. The team built this beachfront base in 2011, complete with its own technical installations for a medium-sized diving operation. Pascal leads as owner, instructor, and boat captain. Nadine runs day-to-day operations as divemaster and manager, and instructors Agnieszka and Stefan and divemaster Marcel round out a team that works across German, English, and Spanish, with the wider group speaking seven languages in total.

Small-group PADI training happens right on the house reef in front of the center, so beginners get their first breaths underwater without a boat ride. For certified divers, the center's own RIB reaches wreck, drift, reef, and deep sites two to ten minutes offshore, covering the Cermona II and Veneguera wrecks alongside reef and cave dives along the southwest coast. No transfer, no waiting around. Sidemount Try Dive and full Sidemount Diver courses sit alongside the standard PADI range, from Discover Scuba through Divemaster.

What Divers Say

Reviewers repeatedly name Marcel, Nadine, and Agnieszka, and patience is the theme that recurs most often. Nervous first-timers are praised for finishing a refresher or an Open Water course feeling calm rather than rushed. Small-group training, equipment quality, and safety standards all draw consistent praise across two years of reviews. Repeat visitors describe multi-week diving trips built around this team, citing well-maintained gear and site variety as reasons to return. A handful of critical comments exist alongside the broadly positive record, but they describe an isolated interaction rather than a pattern in how divers are treated on courses or dives.
