About

Monsoon is the newest and largest boat in the fleet, a 40-metre steel hull launched in 2023. Twelve cabins, ten twins and two suites, sleep 25 guests. It sits squarely on the Deep South. On rotation the boat runs Daedalus, Rocky Island, Zabargad and the St John's caves, with Fury Shoal weeks reaching Abu Galawa, Sha'ab Claudia and Sha'ab Maksur. It does not run the northern wreck weeks. The draw is remote southern reefs on a current platform rather than an older hull. A large modern dive deck takes twinsets and rebreathers, tanks are filled in place, and nitrox comes from a Bauer membrane. Who does it suit? These are advanced trips. Rocky Island and Zabargad are among the more exposed, less-crowded reefs on the Egyptian catalogue, and the southern weeks want an Advanced card and logged-dive minimums, with comfort in current. Government park and port fees are collected by the crew rather than added at the marina. Space and a newer boat are the selling points, capable Deep South access over resort luxury.

What Divers Say

Monsoon is the fleet's newest and biggest hull, positioned squarely on the Deep South. A 2023 steel build with two suites and a large modern dive deck is the practical draw for divers who want the remote south on a current boat. The consistent frame is an advanced trip, with logged-dive minimums and comfort in drift and blue water. Rocky Island and Zabargad rank among the more exposed and less-crowded reefs on the Egyptian catalogue. Space, cabins and a newer platform are the selling points, capable Deep South access ahead of resort luxury.
