About
Sea & Sun is built around one continuous presence. Pepi, a CMAS and SSI instructor born inside the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata-Nijar, has personally guided most of the center's dives since earning her instructor certification in 2012. The center itself has operated from La Isleta del Moro for more than 30 years, placing its founding at approximately 1994 and making it one of the longest-operating dive centers in the La Isleta del Moro hub. All diving happens inside the Cabo de Gata-Nijar Natural Park and Marine Reserve, and the center handles the permits and dive-plan paperwork as part of booking. It operates under active tourism license AT/AL/00147.
Two other instructors complete the team. Ine, with 10 years of diving experience, runs courses, try-dives and snorkeling routes. Sandra coordinates logistics and also leads try-dives and snorkeling groups. The boat is an 8-meter vessel capped at 10 people including the guide and skipper.
Guided dives reach up to 35 meters at the deepest sites. The center also runs fully personalized discover-scuba sessions with a private instructor, CMAS and SSI certification courses through Divemaster, guided snorkeling routes with full equipment supplied, and adapted diving for divers with specific physical needs.
La Isleta del Moro has little tourist infrastructure of its own. A handful of casas rurales and some seasonal accommodation make up most of what is available, and most divers stay in a casa rural or at a campsite.

Where is Sea & Sun Diving Center located?▾
The center is at C/ Punta del Castillo 20 in La Isleta del Moro, a small fishing village inside the Parque Natural de Cabo de Gata-Nijar. La Isleta del Moro is roughly 40 km from Almeria airport via the N-332 and AL-3106. There is no public transport to the village, so a car or private transfer is the practical option.
