Incredibly intelligent and endlessly entertaining to watch. Octopuses change colour and texture in an instant, squeeze through impossibly small gaps, and will often study you right back. Night dives are prime time for hunting octopuses on the move.

Eight flexible arms lined with suckers, a bulbous head, and large intelligent eyes that change color in milliseconds. Master of disguise and problem-solving.

Found in rocky lairs often decorated with shells from its meals — curious and interactive, may reach out a tentacle to investigate your camera.
