Piscis Diving

Piscis Diving has operated from Club Nautic in Sant Feliu de Guixols since 1999, making it one of the longest-running dive centres on the Costa Brava. Director Fran Gomez founded the centre and still leads operations alongside instructors Albert, Queralt, and Gabri. The team speaks Spanish, Catalan, English, and French.

The centre accesses 12 dive sites off Sant Feliu, spanning 2 m to 42 m depth. Six of the sites feature tunnels or cave-like formations. Shallow sites serve beginners and training, while Montelivi and El Amarrador offer deep dives to 40 m and 42 m for advanced divers. Marine life across the sites includes barracudas, eagle rays, seahorses, nudibranchs, groupers, and octopus. Guided dives run 45 to 60 minutes, notably longer than the Mediterranean norm.

The PADI 5-Star Dive Resort offers the full certification ladder from Discover Scuba Diving through Divemaster, plus TEC 40 for technical divers. Night dives and full equipment rental are available. A Zodiac boat is moored metres from the centre at Club Nautic, so transitions from briefing to water are short. Facilities include a classroom, changing rooms, hot showers, and a bar-restaurant at the club.

Conservation runs deep. Fran Gomez has led annual seabed cleanups since the centre opened and serves as president of the Asociacion Reserva Marina, advocating for a marine micro-reserve in Sant Feliu since 1999. The team monitors local poseidonia meadows and delivers environmental education in schools.
