Itineraries (5)
Best of Maldives runs all year from Male. Sharktastic (Jan-Apr) and Deep South (Dec-Mar) are seasonal charters; the northern manta weeks, Northern Highlights and Hanifaru & North, run roughly July to October. Emperor rotates one shared catalog across the fleet, so a given week can be visited on this hull's rotation rather than by fixed departure.
Best of Maldives
All-round intro week from Male; a 10-night variant also runs.
Sharktastic
By charter request; around 30 logged dives and an Advanced qualification typical.
Deep South
Advanced charter with southern staging via Gan and Kooddoo; logged-dive minimums and AOW/Deep Diver typical.
Northern Highlights
Manta season; Hanifaru Bay is a snorkel-only excursion, not a dive.
Hanifaru & North
Manta season; Hanifaru Bay is a snorkel-only excursion, not a dive.
About
Emperor Voyager is Emperor Divers' 30-metre wooden liveaboard, the fleet's value hull: 10 ensuite cabins for up to 20 divers, built around the diving rather than suite space. It runs the same shared Maldives catalog as its bigger sisters from Male: the year-round Best of Maldives week, the seasonal Sharktastic charter around January to April, the northern manta weeks (Northern Highlights and Hanifaru & North) roughly July to October, and the advanced Deep South charter from December to March, staged through Gan and Kooddoo in the far south. Free nitrox to 32 percent is included, and a single-traveler cabin-share guarantee makes it friendly for solo divers. Who does it suit? Best of Maldives fits improvers who are comfortable in current, while the shark and Deep South charters assume logged-dive minimums, an Advanced qualification and drift competence. On the northern weeks, Hanifaru Bay is a snorkel-only excursion, not a dive. A dive computer, SMB and reef hook are mandatory on Maldivian channels. Fares are all-inclusive: green tax, port fees and airport transfers sit inside the price rather than being added at the marina.
What Divers Say
Voyager is framed as the fleet's most popular value option, the hull for divers who care more about water time than suite space. Guests describe a straightforward, well-run diving operation with the same free nitrox and all-inclusive pricing as the bigger sisters, and a smaller wooden boat that feels friendly and unpretentious. The single-traveler cabin-share guarantee gets specific mentions from solo divers. Cabins read as comfortable and practical rather than plush, in keeping with a compact wooden hull. As across the fleet, the shark and Deep South charters are pitched at experienced, current-comfortable divers, and Maldivian channels mean a reef hook and SMB are standard kit.
